Welcome to this pre-event launch of IFLA23 – the world’s largest hybrid gathering of architects that tackles climate change, taking place in Stockholm and Nairobi 28–30 September.
Meet colleagues from the organising architectural associations behind the upcoming IFLA WORLD CONGRESS 2023 – an open invitation to landscape architects, planners and advocates of sustainable built environments worldwide to a multi-day conference filled with inspiring lectures, talks, study visits and social events.
The theme of the meeting, Emergent Interaction, is a call to action: Bolder problem-solving designs are needed in the future as many habitats face increasingly dire effects of climate change, social inequality and biodiversity loss. The IFLA World Congress extends a unique platform for borderless collaboration — to empower our professions’ range of competencies, novel approaches and potential to help address these urgent issues – globally and locally.
