City architects: regenerative cities for the future?

  • Bella Center, Hall E UIA23 Congress 5 Center Boulevard København, 2300 Denmark (map)

Major systemic transformations are needed if we are to change our way of life in a regenerative direction. The cities of the future and the life we have to live must be designed in a completely different way. But how?

This is what we ask the city architects of some of the world's leading cities when it comes to restructuring and visions for the future. With a trip through Malmø, Aarhus and Melbourne's visions and potentials, we will together put into words the visions and possible measures that can be taken in cities all over the world to create cities that stay within the planetary boundaries.

  • Finn Williams, City architect in Malmö, Sweden
