Regenerative leadership

  • Bella Center, Hall E UIA23 Congress 5 Center Boulevard København, 2300 Denmark (map)

How do we responsively skill up leadership competencies for a regenerative transformation? How do we move from conventional to regenerative?

To lead regeneratively, we need to think differently, know more, solve challenges faster, and collaborate more effectively across fields. Our task across disciplines, is to build thriving, prosperous, and flourishing organizations, communities, and cities.

Increasingly so, architects must be willing to grapple with leadership issues, regenerative leadership at that; meaning skilling-up ourselves and the workforce, abandoning linear production systems based on a take-make-waste approach. Conventional building-projects are based on short term profits and maximization that ignore natural resources, whole eco-systems, and debase human integrity. How do we grapple with all of that?

In this conversation, leaders will co-reflect on regenerative leadership from their particular perspectives - on what is needed of them as individuals, and as thought-leaders, business-leaders, systems-changers, and beyond.
